Sean Reid is one of the three masterminds behind the “1st Annual Lynn Drinksgiving – Crawl for a Cause." The crawl is aimed at raising money for Thanksgiving turkeys for local families in need.

Reid said that originally, he and his friend Thomas Macklin struggled to find a way to raise money for a good cause. However, once the fall came, the answer became crystal clear.

“Thanksgiving is a perfect time,” Reid said. “It's also a time of the year where a lot of people are home or back for the holidays and different things like that. So, we thought Thanksgiving-themed pub crawl would be perfect.”

The duo also linked up with Mike Quintana who owns Innergy: a local café in Lynn that specializes in health-conscious drinks. Quintana has distributed turkeys before so Reid said he was an ideal partner for their boozy endeavor.

“He's a super local guy and we know where the money's going,” he said. “It really is going to be so much fun for everyone and us included.”

The hyper-local crawl will make stops at several of Lynn’s popular pubs including The Hibernian, Tony’s Pub, Jade Pacifica and Rolly’s Tavern. One $30 ticket reserves your spot and gets you a crawl T-shirt. The rest of the proceeds are donated toward the turkeys.

Those looking to buy tickets can do so here. If you don’t want to go on the crawl, people can also donate via Venmo, cash or checks. The crawl is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12 and everyone over 21 is invited.
